Amr Essam is the Co-Founder and VP for membership of the IMA Alexandria Chapter, He is also a Member of the IMA's Small Business Financial and Regulatory Affairs Committee (SBFRC) which addresses issues that impact small and medium-sized organizations on behalf of IMA's members and all accounting professionals working within these organizations
Amr holds a Bachelor of Commerce Degree from Alexandria University, majoring in accounting and is a Certified Management Accountant (CMA) at the Institute of Management Accountants.
Amr is an experienced banker in Trade Finance, International Finance and related investment appraisals within a major Islamic bank in Egypt; Also He has a unique blend of market exposure in fields of Banking, Construction and Maritime; with professional certifications as well as ERP systems practical knowledge.
Amr completed the Emerging leaders Program- (EBI) and Stephen Covey’s “The 7 Habits of Highly Effective People” course, he was awarded the Certificate of Excellence for being the most committed and distinctive Delegate during the Alexandria International Model of United Nations (AIMUN) -sponsored by the World Bank and Alexandrina Library.
Amr is eager to help IMA members, CMA holders and CMA candidates to make face to face networking, share their experience and earn NASBA approved CPE credits on the emerging finance topics and raising the awareness of IMA program certification in Alexandria.
